What is ScreenshotX?
ScreenshotX is a screenshot and screen-recording app with a built-in editor and cloud sharing. Capture something, mark it up, and copy a link to it in a couple of clicks.
Which computers does it run on?
The Mac app comes first. A Windows version is in development.
How much does it cost?
Basic is $35 once and includes a year of updates. Pro is $10 a month billed annually ($120 a year) and adds unlimited cloud storage and sharing.
Is there a free plan or a trial?
No. ScreenshotX is a paid app, so every feature and every account needs a plan. You can cancel Pro at any time.
What happens after my first year of updates on Basic?
The version you have keeps working, forever. If you'd like newer versions you can renew updates for $19 a year; if you don't, nothing breaks.
Can I use ScreenshotX on more than one computer?
One license covers one device at a time. To move to another Mac, sign out on the first one (or remove it from your account page) and sign in on the new one.
What does Pro add?
Unlimited cloud storage with share links, comments and view tracking, password-protected and self-destructing links, link branding and themes, and shared team clouds.
Where are my files stored, and who can see them?
Pro files are stored in private cloud object storage and uploaded straight from your Mac. A link is only reachable by people who have it, and you can add a password or limit it to your team. You can delete any file, or your whole account, whenever you like.
Can I cancel Pro any time?
Yes. Cancel from Billing in your dashboard and Pro stays active until the end of the period you've paid for.
